Who We Are
Sabeel Welfare Organization (SWO) is a registered, non-political, and non-profit organization headquartered in G-11 Markaz, Islamabad, Pakistan. Established in 2024 with a vision to serve humanity with compassion and dignity, SWO began as a grassroots initiative dedicated to addressing poverty, lack of education, and limited access to healthcare in underprivileged communities across Pakistan.
Guided by its mission to uplift vulnerable populations, SWO implements targeted programs in health, education, women’s empowerment, disaster relief, and sustainable livelihoods. The organization operates with a firm commitment to equity, transparency, and inclusivity, ensuring that its services are delivered without discrimination on the basis of caste, creed, religion, gender, or ethnicity.
SWO continues to strive toward building a just, self-reliant, and compassionate society where every individual can live with dignity and opportunity.
Sannaya Sabeel
President, Sabeel Welfare Organization
Sannaya Sabeel is a respected leader in Pakistan’s development sector with extensive experience since 2005. She has worked on numerous humanitarian and community development projects, especially in the Hazara region. She has held managerial roles with UN-Habitat, UNICEF, World Vision International, Relief International, Northern Community Citizen Board, and the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP). She enrolled over 100,000 poor families into BISP, enabling them to access financial support. After the 2005 earthquake, she led major recovery projects worth billions, focusing on widows, orphans, elderly people, and disaster-affected communities. In 2018, she contested elections from Mansehra on a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) ticket and served as an Ex-Member of the Provincial Assembly (Ex-MPA). Her leadership reflects her commitment to social welfare, women’s empowerment, and sustainable development.
